Blog of the Week - June 25, 2006

The Blog of the Week selection for this week is Kate Spills the Beans. As you can tell from the name of her blog, her name is Kate and she’s spilling the beans about her family’s finances. Her goal, like so many other personal finance bloggers, is to see her OWE column go down and her HAVE column go up. Her blog is nicely organized and I like her Archives section, which is one of the best I have seen (most blogs are like mine with the calendar for the archives section). Anyway, it is a nicely-written, personal blog and she’s not afraid to say what’s on her mind. Enjoy!

Blog of the Week - June 18, 2006

This week’s Blog of the Week goes to Contentment is Wealth. Lisa is an IT Project Manager by day and a wife, mother, and personal finance blogger at night. She doesn’t blog as often as other bloggers, but when she does, her posts are usually detailed. She also blogs a lot about her family’s money experiences. I have talked with Lisa a time or two and really enjoy what she has to say. Check out her blog and see for yourself. Be sure and read this post that explains the meaning of her blog title. You can also subscribe to her feed.

Blog of the Week - June 11, 2006

This week’s Blog of the Week is Rocks in my Dryer. This is the first ever Blog of the Week that isn’t related to personal finance. I chose Shannon’s blog for two reasons:

1. I like her writing style, and…

2. She writes a post each week called Works for Me Wednesday where different bloggers email links to their posts about what works for them and she (Shannon) posts them all in one post. It is basically a different spin on carnivals. Anyway, you can find some interesting ideas each Wednesday so be sure and check it out.

If you are intersted, you can subscribe to her feed. Next week I’ll be back to blogging about personal finance blogs. Enjoy!

Blog of the Week - June 4, 2006

This week’s Blog of the Week is another relatively new blog called the FamilyCEO, which is as much a frugal blog as it is a personal finance blog. I like reading different blogs like this because it opens my world to new things. Anyway, it is a nice blog and one that I think you should check out. You can also subscribe to her blog.
