This week’s Blog of the Week is MyMoneyPath, a blog authored by a CPA named Daniel. Although Daniel is a CPA, he doesn’t know that much about taxes! GASP! I guess that’s not unusual considering that he is an auditor. I also thought it was interesting that he states in his About Me that most CPAs do not know much about personal finance.
Anyway, Daniel writes about lots of different things. He actually used his sister’s 401(k) as a case study, which made for an interesting post. Feel free to stop by and check out his blog and tell him that JLP sent you!

This week’s Blog of the Week is Matt’s Money Blog, written by a 23-year old guy from New York. I had to chuckle when I saw that he has a goal to have a $1,000 emergency fund and he currently has $41.49. Been there, done that! I remember when I was just starting out and how hard it was to save money. It seemed like no matter how much I put back, I had to use it before the month was up.
I think it is AWESOME when someone in their early 20s gets serious about their finances. The sooner they learn about personal finance and how their choices affect their future, the better off they are. So I applaud Matt in taking the bull by the horns! I also think it is great that he has goals!
I hope you will take some time to check out Matt’s Money Blog. It will be fun to watch him accomplish his goals.
